#LOOCREW A Newbies Guide to the SHOWMAN’S SHOW

… or any exhibition for that matter!

Picture this; lots of people, lots of questions, two days of constant smiling, networking drinks you’ll regret in the morning, a severe lack of sleep and just enough coffee to keep it all bearable. That’s what all my exhibition veteran friends said when I signed up. The Showman’s Show 2018. A must for anyone in the events biz. LOOS FOR DOs have been exhibiting with enthusiasm for years, and now – I can see why.


The Loo Angels Have Landed;

We packed our wings, glitter and our best smiles. Fluttering into Newbury Showground on Wednesday morning – the hall was alive with industry connections. The Showman’s Show is a comprehensive exhibition of all things event and there was no shortage on entertainment this year! This year we had decided the exhibit inside the Great Hall alongside our friends at Blindspot Training who provide #LOOCREW all their training needs.


Catching Up;

Spending a busy summer selling our lovely loos across Hampshire and beyond, the sales team were eager to catch up with all our loo friends and make some new ones too! It was great to share our summer season highlights with our Loo Friends as well as negotiate new deals and catch up with Stand Out Magazine and GL Events over a drink.


Work and Play;

I was shown the ropes by Showman’s Show aficionado and Ark Loo Angel, Abi. Taking a break from educating the masses on our gorgeous loos, we ventured outside to see what else was on offer. The extent of new and innovative events experiences was never ending. We danced in a giant snow globe from Odin Events, flew from new heights with the Free Drop by The AirBag and even met a Rhino courtesy of Boss Cabins.


Back at Loo HQ;

Imagination flowing and with excitement for what’s to come in the next season, all Loo Angels have safely returned to Loo Headquarters. We’ll be planning and spreading loo glamour over the winter with a renewed vigour for all things event.


And me?  A fledging loo angel, with one season and an epic Showman’s Show under my wings – I’m eagerly waiting for the next one!
